After having read the many horror stories about how difficult it was to fit this mount to the receiver, the litterally hours of fileing involved, only to find that the cover pin would not fit, etc. I was a little hessitant about orderiing these mounts. I must say, my fears were unfounded. My significant other and I both own Yugo model SKS''s, although hers is of much newer manufacture, and in both cases I was able to fit and lock down this mount. It has proven to be rock solid and reliable in repeatability from shot to shot. The only reason I didn''t give it five stars is because of its weight. This thing is heavy. This is a great product if you can get it to fit. I spent 30 minutes filing on the front like it says to get that nice snug fit only to find that after all that the bolt wont slide back in the thing. after a bit more work on the rest of it it is working fine now but expect alot of work.
