The Cold Steel Spike is a Barry Dawson design that gets down to the bare essentials. The Cold Steel tanto-style blade is only 4 1/2 inch but is a thicker narrow blade that is flat ground to a zero Edge. This creates a unique cross section that penetrated with the tip and cutting power of a thick, narrow blade. The black handle of the Cold Steel Spike compliments the theme of the knife and has been carefully shaped out of solid steel with a cord wrapped around. All of the sharp edges of the Cold Steel knife are covered so your hand won't become irritated. This Cold Steel knife only weighs 2.5 ounces and comes with a sturdy secure-ex sheath and steel bead lanyard so you can take it anywhere or carry around your neck or on a gear pack.
